Darren Corbett is a former professional boxer from Belfast, Northern Ireland. He was born on May 22, 1973. Corbett started boxing at an early age and pursued it as a career. He won the Irish heavyweight title in 1995 and held it for two years.
Corbett became widely popular in 1997 when he knocked out the American boxer, Arthur Williams, in the third round of their fight, which was held in New York's Madison Square Garden. The victory brought him international recognition and he became a popular name in the boxing world.
During his professional career, which spanned from 1992 to 2003, Corbett fought many other notable boxers such as Carl Thompson, Orlin Norris, and David Haye. He retired from boxing in 2003 with a record of 29 wins, 5 losses, and 1 draw.
